CDC and Uganda Work Together to Strengthen Laboratories – Part 1

The SLMTA (Strengthening Laboratory Management Toward Accreditation) program is a CDC-led global quality improvement program designed to create stronger laboratories that meet international standards. In this video, health officials from the US CDC Uganda office and the Uganda Ministry of Health reflect on SLMTA’s impact across the health system. SLMTA was developed with PEPFAR funding by the US CDC, and the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Africa (AFRO), in partnership with the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI).
